ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Tyler Brown is an Oklahoma native from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University (OSU), with a focus on Human/Child Development and Family Sciences and a minor in Psychology and a master’s degree from Arizona State University (ASU) in Special Education with an Applied Behavior Analysis emphasis. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Tyler held various clinical roles that both supported and inspired her passion for working with children and families. These roles included being an assistant in OSU’s Psychological Services Center and an assistant to the Youth and Family Program in OSU’s Family Resource Center. To complement her undergraduate experience, Tyler also gained various in-field research experience, including presentations on the understanding of kinship foster family experiences with child welfare professionals. Tyler was also fortunate enough to study abroad in Italy through the World Perspectives & Child Development program where she studied infant and child mental health, child bearing, and play therapy.

During her undergraduate career, Tyler served in various roles to enhance her skills as a Registered Behavioral Therapist and provide her clients with the best possible form of care. In addition, Tyler has been awarded for a multitude of accomplishments, including the Registered Behavior Technician Excellence Award. To further her education, Tyler pursued a master’s degree in Special Education with an Applied Behavior Analysis emphasis from Arizona State University-Tempe. Upon pursuing her master’s degree, Tyler was able to gain various clinical experiences under the supervision and mentorship of professionals in her field. Tyler has recently relocated to Spring, Texas where she holds licensure from the BACB as an Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®).

Tyler also enjoys spending time with her dog, Oswaldo, and her family and friends. Tyler can be described as outgoing, passionate, strong-willed, energetic, playful, and an advocate. Tyler is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and loves giving back to her community. Tyler believes that our children are our future and it is our duty as caregivers to help them be their best.
